Original automotive-inspired designs

Ezcustomcar products may feature original artwork, patterns, customization concepts, and automotive-inspired designs created for personal vehicle accessories. These works are intended to be independent creative expressions and are not official merchandise of any third-party brand unless expressly stated.

Our creative works are intended to be transformative in nature, celebrating car culture, personal style, and everyday driving through original design, parody, commentary, or artistic reinterpretation in accordance with applicable fair use principles.

Third-party rights remain reserved

All third-party names, logos, vehicle makes, model names, trademarks, characters, and copyrighted works remain the property of their respective owners.

Filing a DMCA takedown notice

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent and believe that content on ezcustomcar.com infringes your copyrighted work, you may submit a written notification containing all of the following:

  • Physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work including a detailed description or URL of the original copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  • Identification of the allegedly infringing material including the exact URL(s) on our site where the material appears.
  • Contact information your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Good-faith statement that you believe use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Accuracy statement made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Legal warning — false claims have consequences

Knowingly submitting a false DMCA claim may result in liability for damages under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, including costs and attorneys’ fees.

Takedown response procedure

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, Ezcustomcar will take reasonable steps to:

  • Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  • Notify the content uploader, creator, vendor, or account holder responsible for the material when applicable.
  • Provide the affected party with a copy of the takedown notice and information about counter-notification rights where appropriate.

Counter-notification procedure

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification including:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the removed material and its prior location on our site.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Your consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for Wyoming, or your local district if you are outside the United States.
Restoration timeline

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material within 10 – 14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action to restrain the restoration.

Repeat infringer policy

Zero tolerance

Repeat infringement ends access.

Ezcustomcar maintains a policy for addressing repeat copyright infringement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts, vendor relationships, creator access, listings, product submissions, or other access for parties repeatedly subject to valid DMCA complaints, in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).
